Tom Briggs

Tom Briggs taught maths for seven years before moving to a cracking job at Bletchley Park as Enigma Outreach Officer (and then Learning Manager), during which time he worked with Potential Plus UK on a number of projects. Now, after another seven years, he has been made redundant (thanks, Covid-19) and is taking the plunge into the world of freelance mathematics communication. This began with The Mathematics of Measuring the Solar System and Scaling the Solar System, both delivered to Potential Plus UK students’ events during lockdown. If you’re interested to find out what happens next (Tom can’t wait!) keep your eye on tkbriggs.co.uk
